We had a TT that was the same way. Never did get rid of the jerky ride. I tried an EQ with 4pt sway control, a used Hensley, an EAZ-Lift and an Andersen. I also went from a 1/2 ton to a 3/4 ton. The 3/4 ton gave more straight line stability but did nothing for the rough concrete jerky ride. The Andersen did the most to relive the jerk. Probably due in part because of the Urethane bushings.
I'm guessing I put 5 years worth of camping in 2.5 years on the elec tongue jack trying every trick under the sun to get it set up right. I can't think of how many times I'd pull into a rest area or pullout to make an adjustment.
What was frustrating was the TT we had before towed like a caddy. Very smooth over any surface.
Like mentioned above you may never get rid of it. I got so tired of reading about other guys with the same issue and people would say loosen/tighten the spring bars/chains and it should go away. That's what they did on theirs. It never made any difference whether I tightened or loosened the chains/bars. I even towed without the spring bars. I also made sure my TW was correct. Nature of the beast as they say IMO.
