That size TT shouldn't pose much issue with the Chevy 2500HD with 6.0, especially in the 6 speed version. As stated above the 4.10 gears will be better capable when traversing steep inclines but the 3.73 in the six speed will do fine as well.
Don't be afraid to let the engine roar since power band is based on higher rpms. We pull a similar length TT at over 9K# here in the mountain west region and always at high elevation, no issues maintaining posted speed limits. Have lots of great times in your new TT!!!
