Here we go again, chip shortages

If you go into a car dealership anywhere in my town you can tell it's not busuiness as usual. There are no cars and no customers and very few salespeople. Sort of depressing.
Nevertheless chip shortage or not? Be it real or imagined?
All is not well within the car industry. You witness it at a dealership near you!
