I replaced "D" rated Missions with "E" Maxxis on our 10K GVWR trailer. I did not replace the wheels.
I run the Maxxis at 75psi (they are rated for 80psi). This gives me lots of reserve capacity. I have had no problems with the 75psi and my original rims.
