Started in a Chevy S10 long bed 4x4, loved going off road but tenting on the Wet coast was not my cup of tea. Bought a canopy and built some storage boxes a bed with a pull out storage drawers underneath. Later when the first set of twins arrived we added a bunk. A little cramped but got the job done. Second set of twins came a long, no more camping in the S10. Bought a Suburban 4x4 and a tent trailer.fast forward twenty years and poof all 5 kids are now grownup and tent trailer is worn out and too big for us. Bought a f250 for home renos, wife saw a nice TC in tne paper, we went to look at it and bought it that day. It sure is nice to explore the back roads of BC again. 9 years later we are looking at a fifth wheel for our provincial park camping and when the grand kids want to go with us. Going to keep the camper as the exploring is not yet out of our blood and we both think selling it will be a regrettable decision.
