Mine started 11 years ago when diesel was .98 cent a gallon. I picked up an 03 F250 6.0 diesel 4x4 off the dealer lot with a camper package. My first son was just born and I got into NHRDA racing with the truck.

3 years went past and racing was getting expensive so I "retired" We needed a new hobby so we purchased a 15' Boston Whaler to cruise around with.

One weekend we decided to run down to the Keys with a tent and the boat. We had a blast but it was hot.
Both my wife and I came from families who camped so we started looking for an RV. I found a 1995 KZ sportsman forsale up north that had been stored in a barn for the past 15 years. We drove up to see it and purchased it. Everything was in perfect shape and still had the tags on the fridge that was never used.

We then did trips all over Florida and set the truck up to pull the boat to the Keys. As the boys got a little bigger it became obvious that the camper wasn't big enough.

I started surfing the net for a larger TC and found our current monster. The F250 wasn't liking the extra weight and we traded it in for our current setup.
Still a Diesel and 4x4 but with training wheels.
