Thanks! With a small increase in HP and torque, the truck handles the TT quite nicely. Over 4000 kms in the last 2 years.3.0charlie wrote:

Very nice set up! What are you using for a bike rack over the propane tanks?
This is the bike rack I use: Arvika DFX-400-C. Nice design, hate the straps which I've replaced with Velcro strips instead. - NLPRacingExplorer

Really nice rig you got there. Do you have any floor plans? Pics from the inside? How long is your TT? I thought I never would say this but this Expy looks like a Fiat 500 in front of your trailer, no offense man.
Thanks! It's a 2013 Kodiak 300BHSL. From hitch to bumper it's about 37' (a little over 11 meters). I've pulled shorter, heavier trailers that were a lot harder to pull than this one. We really love it. I don't have any pics of the inside, but you can see some of a similar unit on the Kodiak web site. - NLPRacingExplorer

I think it is a nice set up... I always hear that the longer the trailer, easier it is to tow/back up. I understand swaay issues but, if they realize they are towing and not racing, I see no problem. If you are scared, stay home. Nice rig!
Thanks! It really does tow well (over 2000 miles so far) and backing it into a site has been easy too. Here's a pic of her all set up:

Here's out "new" 1998 Fleetwood Terry. The picture was taken the day we picked it up from the previous owner. That's my wife Pat holding it up, lol.
We're pulling it with an '03 Ford Expedition Eddy Baur 5.4
Hooked up with a Fastway E2 equalizer
Stopping it with a Prodigy p2 controller.
We haven't owned a trailer for over 20 years, so we're basically starting all over. Looking forward to getting out and doing some camping.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE ON RV.NET
As soon as I figure out how post a picture you'll see the picture that was supposed to be where it says "moved or deleted"...... - GraydustExplorerHere is our rig we plan on taking to Alaska 2014. 2008, 2500 Dodge Hemi 5.7 with our 27ft 1999 Holiday Rambler Alumascape. Our truck only has 37000 miles on it. It pulls great here in Michigan now to try it in Alaska. It does like gas
