Welcome to the forums Mr. and Mrs. radioadam! Nice looking rig too and what a nice night to camp in listening to the rain hit the top of your rig. That's my favorite way of camping. Love it. The worst day camping in the rain beats the best day working at the office!
What is that black round thing just above the wheel well, a decal?
Thanks for the welcome! Sleeping with the sound of rain falling on the roof was nice indeed...though I felt bad knowing just a few sites over were about 40 boy scouts in tents. They made a quick departure this morning!
Lol...that is a pedastal oscillating fan we had to keep the gnats (not to mention heat & mosquitos) away. Gnats...one of the pleasures of south GA!
The first time I should have felt bad was one of our first camping trips in a travel trailer. It was raining steadily and we were nice and warm, and dry, inside playing cards and drinking margaritas. Meanwhile, outside, the tenters were packing up and leaving.
Ah . . . I see the pedestal now. - radioadamExplorer

Our 97 fleetwood wilderness
1997 Fleetwood Wilderness 29s bunk remodeled - radioadamExplorerJust joined up this week after lurking for a while, but this is my first post. Picked up our 2012 North Trail FX23 by Heartland yesterday from Camping World (good grief at the run around from that place, but that's another story for another day). I was bound and determined to give it a test run at General Coffee State Park since it's only about 5 miles from home. It rained all night (after we went to bed, and was drizzling this morning, but we had a great time nonetheless). Yesterday, before the rain started, we were walking around the camp group and came across an oak snake crossing the road. I quickly grabbed it up (to near heart attack screams from the DW). My son (and a nearby cub scout group that was camping) appreciated it though. No pics of the snake (the cub scout group took plenty, but we didn't...my hands were full lol!).
Anyhow...here's a few pics from our maiden voyage!
