HF Jack Stand Recall

We all have opinions and I am definitely with agesilaus in not trusting HF items. Now I do buy and use many HF items. But I always try to consider the consequences of a failed item before I buy it. If failure could cause serious injury or death I just won't consider it.

I use some of their air tools.
their hand tools.
electric drill or orbital sanders.
cutting wheels.
trailer lights.
zip ties.
a backyard sump pump.
razor blades.
hand soap.
multimeters.
moving dolly wheels.
etc

I would never trust something like
Weight distribution hitch.
Safety chains.
Hydraulic jacks.
Jack stands.
