High-altitude, no-hookup, winter RV heating
We own some property in Utah at a high elevation (8,200 ft) with no hookups whatsoever. We have a 15 foot StarCraft (RB15) parked up there right now.
It gets very cold, and very snowy up there. We have built a carport engineered to the proper snow-load to keep the snow off it.
We are hoping to use it in the winter via ski access. What are the best heating options?
I was hoping to use the Furnace but we will have to rely on the battery for that as we don't have a generator up there. Will a battery with a 5-watt solar trickle charger run the furnace for ~2 days at a time? The battery we have is this one (battery)
Anyone ever used those personal mini-heaters in their RV? I'm talking about the little buddy 1lb propane tank driven units.
