The big plus for solar at altitude and in the winter is that a panel will work better than it will at sea level in warm climates. To be able to answer you I would need to know what the current draw is on your furnace. The prices on solar panels has been coming down and properly sized panel would certainly answer your needs for quiet. We have a 185 W high-voltage panel that feeds into a MorningStar Sun Saver MPPT controller that meets all our needs. However my heater is a Eberspacher diesel heater which uses for a little current.
One thing to remember is that you can use the output of your tow vehicle alternator to recharge your trailer battery using jumper cables. This is useful when the solar input is not sufficient to bring the batteries to full charge. I used 150 amp Anderson power pole connectors to make this an easy process for both the trailer and tow vehicle.
