For whatever you try (1 your existing set-up, 2 taking an extra battery or 3 extra solar panels) on the firt trip I'd rent or borrow a 2000 watt generator (and battery charger if you don't have one built in) to take with you. You may be trying to preserve the peace and quiet, but until you know your solution will work, you need to have an alternative. What if you went out skiing all day Saturday and came back to a cold RV and dead batteries causing you to have spend the night in your TV? What if a snow storm came in and you had to spend an extra day or two with dead batteries and no sun for solar?
And also take a good set of jumper cables. You can use them to charge the RV battery if needed. They need to be long enough, made of heavy cable and have a good rubber coating, not cheap plastic.
Take extra gas for the TV in case you have to stay in it for heat or to charge the RV battery.
These recommendations may sound like overkill, but be prepared on the first trip until you know what to expect.
