You will have eternal peace and quiet if you freeze to death during the night....
I would go with 2 6v deep cycle batteries in series to make 12v, they are meant to be cycled deeper. Adding a second 12v battery is an option but then you have two batteries of unequal ages, so if you are going to buy 2 get 6v's.
A Honda or similar 2KW inverter generator runs very quietly. If it is outside running you will not be able to hear it over the furnace fan inside. In fact it would difficult to hear even without the furnace running. An auxiliary extended run tank for the generator would help a lot also.
Or run it during the day while you are out skiing then use the two batteries to get through the night with the furnace.
There's a lot more potential for power savings, e.g. using LED bulbs in the light fixtures, and a more efficient converter/charger with heavier gauge wire to the batteries that will allow the batteries to charge faster from a generator or shore power.
Extreme edition trailers usually have enclosed and insulated underbellies, but you don't mention if you have dual-pane windows, they help a lot also.
