Bro and I do have fully equipped TC.s. Everything but a roof air conditioner. It's just in a smaller lighter package than most. Weight, width, height and tanks are what is pared down. Bro john's OUTFITTER! actually weighs more than the Lance Lite 165-s. It's also wider and longer. The Lance is 15 inches taller than the down-position OUTFITTER!
The three rigs at the first night's camp are roughly the same size. Jefe posted a photo of us all in camp. Here's an after photo, when we ate lunch at the park in Bishop:

My Tiger CX (a C, not a TC) also has no roof a/c and is only 87 inches wide. It is not quite as tall as Jefe's Lance and, due to regular cab when they had extended cabs, not as long as either the Lance or the Outfitter. Smaller is the key if you want to do this kind of trip. Even then, expect to have a few scrapes or missing parts at the end.
