High Volume, Low Cost Chevy dealer in the Southwest or West?

I have a good friend who wants to buy a new Chevy truck. It's just for a work truck, hardly ever tows. I'm trying to help him get the best possible price. So my question for the many knowledgeable ...

GMC, but doesn't stock anywhere near as many GMC as Ram trucks, and prices seem to be much higher than comparable Ram trucks. So it doesn't appear that they are a high volume, big discount GMC dealer.
