On my Northern Lite 811 I weighed my truck at a CAT Scale full of gas and with my wife and I in it just as it would be prior to loading the camper. Tailgate was off as well.
Then, I loaded my camper onto the truck, filled it with water, gear, groceries etc. and went back and weighed it again.
My camper dry as it left the factory weighed 2720 lbs. Wet, it weights 3570 lbs. I am under on my payload, front and rear axle ratings so all is good.
If I am not mistaken, your Adventurer 89RB is very similar in size to my NL 8.11. I would be very surprised if your dry weight is actually 2400 lbs. Unless the manufacturer weighs each one when they leave the factory my experience has been they underestimate the weights.
I would suggest you do what I did, weigh your truck and then load your camper wet and go weigh it again. That is the only real way you will know what it weighs.
