Hitch Extender
I bought a 14" hitch extender today as I was in a tight spot a couple of weeks ago and almost took out a tail light:) Turns out....the extender REDUCES tongue and tow weight by 50%. Makes sense...

That sounds more like a weight distribution rating, not a weight carrying rating. Your RAM's hitch receiver is WD rated that high? :@
