I noticed that on my trailer hitch, specifically where the knob is to attach the sway control, there appears to be just a slight bend. It could have always been there and I not noticed. Is this norm...

Mine is clearly bent. The previous owner may have turned way too tight and caused the bend. I haven't had any adverse effects with mine.
