- 1rickwExplorer IIJust noticed that I joined Dec 1, 2003. I can't believe it. No wonder I feel so much older now.
- DoneItAllExplorerWelcome to the 10 year club! (I'll be sending a private message concerning the dues...)
I guess my birthday just passed in mid-October.
John - BobTowneExplorerCongratulations, Joe. I always enjoy your posts.
- rjsurferExplorerI had to post a message to see my age..

OK, I see it now..not as old as I thought, now I remember I changed my login on 07.
I'm thinking it was in 2003 when I first posted.
Here we go 10/01/2002 under my "rjweiss" login. For the life of me I can't remember why I changed it? deltabravo wrote:
... then two weeks later I sold the truck (2002 2500HD, 6.0L with about 66,000 miles on it - low miles for a 8 year old truck - it was bought new in fall of 2001, I was the 2nd owner).
Here's the truck:
I really liked that truck, it was hard to sell it, but it wasn't up to the task of hauling an AF camper. I liked certain things about it a lot better than the 2009.
- JoeChiOhkiExplorer IIThanks all for the well wishes, fruitcake, and pins ;).

Are you going to keep the TC now that you also have the
Heartland fifth wheel?
Yeah, the fifth wheel was delivered by the dealer and is now acting as our house. Need and RV for travel, so the camper will be around for a long time to come. Soon, she'll have a nice spot to sleep in the barn out of the weather, too.BobsYourUncle wrote:
Joe you got me beat by a mere 3 weeks!!
2003 was a busy year for RV.net members joining the truck camper area.JumboJet wrote:
...and just think of all those productive hours wasted........well maybe not wasted.
I just finished up a great sweet potato pie and thought about you as I finished it off.
Aye, I miss that pie, it was good :). - Less_StuffExplorerCongrats Joe!
I can relate.
Although I sold my Truck/Camper and changed my name. - MooneyExplorerDang, missed mine!

Here's my evolution since joining:
If I have learned one thing about RV ownership, it clearly is an evolving process. Thanks for sharing. I am a couple years away from my 10 year anniversary and will try to remember then to share my RV evolution story that so far has been three truck campers (two hardsided, one Alaskan pop up), one GMC diesel pickup, and three Ram diesel pickups. - BudsterExplorerMy oh my how time flies. Hard to believe that it is over ten years since I joined 10/13/2003. I was on my 2nd TC then (Lance 820) on a 2500/8.1/19.5s/airbags. Sadly my health prevented me from using the overhead bed (dinette was too small for me) so I moved on to a Lazy Daze 'C' with a dedicated bed in the back. Still using it today. Do I miss the TC? YES. I miss the ability to go places I used to go to as the 'C' is too big. But I do go 'off road' where most 'Cs' won't go.
Keeping with the season I am thankful for this forum where I have made many new friends over the years, got some terrific information, was helped by others with answers to my questions, I even answered a few too. Keep up the good work TC Forum!
