Lot of people are work campers for Amazon but unfortunately they have already hired people for this year. You do get a free campsite. There should be a lot of seasonal jobs around for the holidays.

There is a good blog about a young girl that full-times in her camper called (interstellar orchid) you might want to read, explains a lot.

I would look at this as a opportunity to see the country and work-camp.
