Well if times are getting tough for you then you might have to do things that you don't like to.
I do not know what the demand for bakers and pastry chefs are in the area you are looking, but you have a skill that you can fall back on!
I have worked in multiple fields of jobs,Construction,Manual labor,Fire Rescue,Truck Driver over the road.
When times got tough and money was tight, I could always fall back on one of my experiences and find work.
What I have learned is that Truck Driving brings allot of diverse individuals from a whole lot of different job areas!!
I have met other drivers that were large company CEO's that lost work as the company either down sized or closed up and they couldn't find work and had to change careers.
I have a brother in law that worked for a large printing company for over twenty years and worked his way up the ladder to a management position and made decent money. The company relocated to Mexico and he was not asked to go!
Bam,, out of work and having to support a family and home.
I told him about driving, He signed on with a large trucking firm, they trained him and he went to work for them.
Yeah he was on the road allot for the first couple of years, but he was able to provide health insurance for his family and keep his home. After five years he made enough to change careers again and get a well paying union job in his home town!
If you want something different,,, ,might look into that!! It all depends on how hard you want to work and what your needs are!
Some trucking firms offer a Sign on Bonus!!
