I would encourage you to check out Interstellarorchard.com. It is about the travels and workamping that a single lady has done for at least 4 years. She is currently working for the amazon camperforce in Haslet, Texas. You have to apply for those jobs early in the year. She explains that at her website.
If you don't have a computer or internet, try your local public library. Our library has computers you can use to do research during the library hours. You might also find campgrounds at freecampsites.net and campendium.com.
Also consider going to temp agencies for jobs in the cities that you want to live in. My college daughter has had decent jobs working through a temp agency.
