So as we were getting ready to head to the beach last weekend. I realized how aggravated I get hooking up the trailer when the golf cart is on the back of the truck. Back up a little and check, move to the right a little and check....you all know the drill. So I had an idea, borrowed my 2 year olds iPod and Facetime called my phone. Bam! Instant back up cam!

Great idea. Thanks for sharing, I plan to use your idea with the next solo hook up.I use my wife's iPhone and mine when setting up my sat dish. I point hers at the tv screen with the sat boxed tuned to the point dish page. Use facetime and watch on my iPhone as I fine tune the dish position to get the best signal. There is a delay so I make small changes and then wait for the picture (and sound) to catch up.

LOL that's too much. I love it.

That's a great idea! I think I will be trying this next weekend.

I'm a tightwad (most of the time) and this works til I talk myself into buying a sure enough camera!

Yeah, for 140 I picked up a 7" monitor and two cameras. And it's there when I travel down the road.

Great idea....still gonna stick with my Samsung S3 ;)

Just don't back the TV into the ipod so it splits in half or your kid will be getting a new one :0 if you do happen to do it please post a picture of it

I just backup and get my FA out and look... ;) I got it down to only about one or two looks and I'm hitched... :) Keeps my FA from getting bigger! ha, ha! :)

Or have the wife direct me and it still takes one or two tries!

But really, nice score and if it works for you, that's great and enjoy! :)

Who would've thought that I would learn a thing or 2 about my Iphone on an RV site. Thanks belairbrian for the App 'Tango'. I downloaded it to my phone and wife's phone and will plan to use it for this purpose; as long as its secure, of course.

yes, but you can also use Tango over a 3G or 4G connection provided both devices are Iphone. Ipods always needs wi-fi.
