Ryobi gen, but same principal.
A thief can get anything, but the idea is to slow down most. I just had to cut two disc locks off trailer with a grinder. Yes grinder will cut anything, but I was plugged in. Using a battery grinder will require several batteries as it took many many minutes of grinding to get through, and my first cut was not successful, so did three cuts for two locks.
You will notice that the weak link is not the lock, but rather the things it is locked to, easier to cut the bar or door or something than the lock itself. Having a lesser lock might mean thief will not attempt to cut your trailer to pieces. I'd rather lose the thing than have a cut-up trailer to fix.

Used old hitch, and angle iron and stuff from my steel pile of metal. Cost - $0

Painted. The shiny bar runs through slightly bigger pipe pieces and locks to the front.

The strap that goes over is custom bent to shape of the gen and padded with that shop-floor-foam stuff.

The "handles" actually are to keep the gen from being lifted out of its tray and slid sideways.
It is not thief-proof, but is a deterrent, not as nice as the honda thing. Easy to cut the lock (I have the hockey puck one that cant be cut so easy when needed). The straps can be cut of course as can be any of the steel structure, but requires a loud cutter.
In the end I paid less than $500 for this gen, today is still worth less than $600, so there are many more things on rig of more value…
and don't judge my welding skills on this 60 year old rusty metal that is too pitted to get clean….
