I used a jerry can no problem. I modified the screw on cap with a 1/4" bulkhead fitting. I installed a marine quik connect on the outside of it and 1/4" copper tube siphon on the inside using a 1/4" compression fitting. I also drilled a hole in the side of the can and intalled an air compressor bleeder valve I open when the genny is hooked up.
