honest advice on a truck for towing 10000lbs

If you spend a little time on this board you will notice that in a lot of cases you need a dually diesel to tow a one thousand pounder. :W
If you have to have 10mpg you probably (for sure in my opinion) not get 10 mpg with a gassser. If ya gotta get 10 then spend the 6 to whatever thousand dollars to get it. It is whatever makes you feel comfortable and what you like.
I been averaging 8.7 pulling a 11.5 K fifth wheel with the 6.2 ford. If 380 some ponies will not get me there I don't want to go.
Post back some day and let us know what you did and how pleased you are.
