I pull right at 10k lbs and have a Ram 2500 with a diesel. In my opinion only...... again my opinion only, I would not tow my trailer with anything other than diesel. I get about 10.5 mpg pulling. Truth be told I really wish I would have gone with a single rear wheel 3500. My next truck will be just that.
