I would suggest you take your time and look for a good 3/4 ton diesel pickup that's been owned by a RV owner.
Many older gentlemen have such trucks, and they've never been worked hard or towed hard. They also often have low mileage. And many older gentlemen get out of the RV hobby because of their age or health issues.
