To answer your question, anything can be done with enough time and money. You are trying to save money, so I don't think your idea is feasible. You would need to construct some type of solid frame on the rear of your trailer to attach your vehicle to. Then you would need to fabricate some type of axle or wheel system in the front of the trailer to support the weight of the front of the trailer. Then you need to fabricate some type of steerable system so you can maneuver the rig where you want it to go. That could cost a lot of money in material and labor to do.
For a couple hundred dollars you can buy (maybe even rent...?) a powered dolly and have a product that was engineered to work with the way your trailer was engineered to work and you would be good to go.
