I have a 35' outback 298re and I have about 2 inches on each side of it for clearance. and a tree in my side yard that does not allow me to drive it out or back it into the shed I built for it in the back yard.
My answer was a 3 ton floor jack from Harbor Freight, a 2 5/16 ball, and a piece of steel channel from a s**** steel place. I mounted the channel in place of the round pivot and then the ball on top of that.
I can pump up the ball to the receiver and then lower it down for stability. I use a good piece of rope and a pulley tied to a tree in my back yard then run back under the trailer and the wife runs the truck and I steer the camper back into the shed.
Let me know if you want pics.
