I will also chime in since my grocery getter exhibited similar behavior though not to the extent the OP describes.
My Springdale is somewhat lighter at 5700 dry, but when we left the dealership for the 100 mile drive home, it felt like we were on a boat.
Being new to towing at the time, I figured if the truck was level it must be set up right. Wrong. I took it to an RV repair guy who adjusted everything correctly and aired up the tires to 50. Big difference on the next trip.
I still know it's back there but no threat of sea sickness. This is with a 2008 Toyota Tundra.
