Not sure what you are talking about, as there is little, if any, difference in size between half ton and three quarter ton models. A dually is another story, but that is not what they are looking at.

By "size", do you mean the common definition of height, length, and width? Check out the various manufacturers and you will find almost no difference in these measurements between half ton and three quarter ton models. Th4y may feel bigger, but the tape tells the tale.
