Horrible Gas mileage

I think if I were to swap trucks, it would be for an older diesel, and at least a 3/4 ton. I like my setup now except for the mileage, which again, is not a money thing. I got a super deal on my current truck.. way below book and bought used, so I wouldn't be upside down per se, but i would want to find another good deal on a 3/4 ton, probably diesel, just because I know I want to be doing a good deal of longer distance trips within the next year or two and I like the idea of having a bit of "overkill", in my tow capacity.

Not enough of a reason to make a rash change, but if something jumped out and fell into my lap, I'd pull the trigger.
