Many at the beginning stated, that a warning was in order for Diesel newbie, but with the correct knowledge and an investment after purchase the 6.0 could be a decent diesel.
The issues is many looking at the 2003 to 2008 6.0's are looking at a "deal". which has a higher likelihood turning into a financial disaster.
ALL diesels have their issues, my generation has the VP$$ (AKA Bosch VP44 injection pump). There was also the 53 block, and killer dowel pin issue. Most preventable for a less that $600 investment.
