Host Aspen SB
I just purchased a host aspen sb. It was one of the east coast deals where I did the best research I could do, but it was purchased having never seen one in person. Just curious if anyone else on this...

Not saying it is right, but you aren't going to be remarkably over GVWR compared to most SRWs and even some DRWs if you travel light. If it is a shortbed crew cab, that's about as bad as it gets. Nevertheless, there are several here that are doing it.
I'd strongly consider all of the common SRW mods. It will likely be very top heavy which means you do need to consider how much sway you have. Stiffer tires with higher capacity like the Nitto Graplers or 19.5s, shocks, good sway bars, Torklift Stabileloads, and all worth considering if you don't do all.
