I just purchased a host aspen sb. It was one of the east coast deals where I did the best research I could do, but it was purchased having never seen one in person. Just curious if anyone else on this...

I don't agree that Host hides their true dry weights. Their build your own shows the weight. That's not exactly hiding. Even truck weights vary along with payload. Add options, the weight changes.
In any case, all that matters is the loaded weight which is going to be a lot with most well equipped campers either that are long or have slides or both.
