I can tell you that my F250 did just fine with an Arctic Fox 811 and an 8,000 lb trailer in tow, so your Lance 881 would have been easy. I think people's driving style, experience and expectations vary wildly and the only way the OP will know is to try it. Then take progressive measures to make it a comfortable ride for the driver.
