Hot air out the side
Hi I was just wondering if the hot exhaust from the furnace was just wasted heat or is it just stale exhaust? It sure seems to be a lot of heat coming out of there!

RVs with enclosed heated tanks use clean side exchanger heat into the tank area - some of the heat output is diverted to the tank area rather than to the floor registers.
Dirty side exhaust heat is not wanted in the tank area because of the chance of a CO leak into the living spaces.
It would only take a half hour or less of a leak to kill everyone in the trailer.
