How a TT is built

I took a tour of the Jayco factory a few of years ago and they still make them that way. guide said the workers are told in the morning how many units have to be made that day. Whether it's 10 units or 40. When that number is made, they go home. Speed is what get them out the door sooner. I didn't see any one walking in the place they were all going as fast as possible. I always wondered if they get paid by the hour or by the unit. The guide wouldn't answer when I asked.
