The F650 and 750 makes great tow vehicles! Mine had a 21' Jerr-Dann roll-back deck, and I've towed numerous broken down Ford 6.0's along with their trailers. We even had a 5th-wheel attachment that mounted to the wheel-lift so we wouldn't need two tow trucks. Total lengths would push 75' (~30' overall truck length + wheel-lift + 40'+ fifth wheel) and be over 50,000 combined.
Of course, you stick those silly pickup beds on them, and they become a lit less useful.
Mine had the Eaton 6-speed and the Cummins 24-valve 5.9L with 95 HP injectors, so it actually moved pretty well. The transmission was rebuilt at 300,000, engine around 350,000 and the deck and hydraulics were rebuilt around 400,000. No reason the chassis won't last forever.
