In MN if it has a license plate on it they could run the plate and get the owners name. That owner would have to go to the DMV and pay a small fee to get a duplicate title. Otherwise you would have to register it as a homemade vehicle and as someone said that would mean getting rid of all the original name stickers on the TT.
Now, that is for TT. If it's a car or truck in MN and you loose the title you either keep the vehicle or junk it. I don't care if it's a brand new Cadillac getting a title for a car in MN is next to impossible.
For a trailer it's not that hard.
