how do I properly weigh my rig?
I want to weigh my rig on my next camping trip, but am a little confused on how to do this. I want to make sure I get all the pertinent weight measurements, like truck weight, travel trailer weight, ...

My experience was similar to azdryheat, the CAT scale has three separate scales.
+ First pass I straddle the first two scales and get the front and back TV axle weight.
+ Second pass I straddle the first two scales with the TT on the third scale and get front, back and TT axle weights.
Usually there is not much change in the front axle weight, which means the WD hitch is doing its job shifting the weight back to the front axle, leveling the TV.
The change in weight on the TV axles is the tongue weight; that and the TT axle weight is the TT weight.
Weighting each axle never made much sense to me. The furnace, refrigerator, clothe closet and hot water heater are on the passenger side of the TT, the stove, microwave, sofa and sink are on the slide on the driver's side. The tanks and AC are centered. None if these can be moved, so if the weight is not balanced, there is not much that can be done about it.
The trip to the scales is $12.00 for two weighs in 24 hours. I also carry a step stool so I can reach the call button.
