We have a fold down bunk over the dinette that holds a ton of stuff like chairs, roll-up table, fishing rods, etc. our generator sits on the floor under our dinette. We don't have a cooler because we have a refrigerator. Since we have room for two dog crates on the floor, I'd imagine I would put it the. When I need the floor open to carry a kayak, I put the crates on the dinette seats. In our outside compartment we have a stove, griddle, lanterns, outdoor carpet, chair, hatchet, and more.
