Years ago when our 2 kids got too big for a truck camper we sold it and bought a travel trailer.
A couple of years after that they had their own interests which did not include coming with us in an RV.
So I cleaned out the TT and piled all our "necessary" stuff in the garage. Holee!!! What a huge mound we had accumulated in all those storage spots in the trailer.
Sold the TT and went back to a TC. Pared down the Mt Everest of stuff and it all fits. We just bring what we have found to be really necessary and leave the kitchen sink home.
It does help that we have a crew cab but the 2 dogs take up 2/3 of that space anyhow.
