Welcome, it is a different mind set with a TC…apply the K-I-S-S principle and you will be amazed how stress free you travels are.
A Friend of mine outs it this way; TC’ers are all about the destination (hiking/fishing/travelling). Trailer campers are all about the camper; TV, lounge chairs, huge bbq grill, etc, etc.
The TC makes an awesome support vehicle; beds, shower, kitchen…we don’t spend a lot of time hanging around inside though. We don’t even have a TV in ours.
Having said that, we have figured out how to carry all the…necessary (?)…stuff;
Bikes, kayaks, chairs, grill, and during ski season a genny (don’t need one the rest of the year).
Bikes and skis on front hitch, kayaks up top, small grill and firewood on rear hitch rack.
Chairs on ladder rack.
I all makes for a compact set up that allows us go just about anywhere, or park just about anywhere.
These might help;

If you look closely you can see the hitch rack underneath.
