How far can you tow prior to fill up?
Thinking about getting rid of the Class A and getting a different RV for traveling cross country in. So bear with me since I'm really new to TT's. As a newbie to TT's I'm attempting to wrap my head...

I have a 2008 F250 crew cab short bed 2wd, 5.4 auto. I thought it had a tank capacity of 24-26 gallons, but with a quick search supposedly it has a 30 gallon tank. This makes me think my fuel gauge is not quite right... anyways:
Similar to what others have posted, I go about 150 miles then fill up. Works out to filling up roughly every 3 hours on extended trips. When the truck hits 1/2 tank I start thinking about a gas station, when I hit 1/4 tank I actively find a place to fill up. I find I usually want to stop every 1 1/2 hours for a bathroom/stretch/rest break, so every other stop I fill up. Average around 9mpg towing: can get up to 10.5mpg or as low as 7.5mpg depending on conditions (hills, traffic, etc).
