How far can you tow prior to fill up?

My old F150 had a 30 gal tank which I only ran down to 1/4. That meant 22.5 gallons at 7 GPH gave me roughly 3 hours of drive time which coincided nicely with my family's bathroom break needs. New truck has a 34 gal tank but it is diesel (bigger engine + better mileage) so I am excited to see it's endurance (I presume it will outlast our bladders).
