Well the old 03 Dodge Cummins with a 5 spd , 4 dr short bed
pulling the 05 22 ft Airstream gets around 15 and 16 mpg,
with 90 gallon tank in the bed coupled to the 35 gallon
tank under the truck,that puts us durn near 2000 miles
before it starts sucking air. with the two 5 gallon jerry
cans for backup, we can do a lot of trips round trip and
not have to be raped by having to pay horribly inflated
fuel prices in resort and remote locations .Being able to
traverse Canada to Alaska and back and having to take on
fuel only two times , one time up , one time back is a plus.
