How far can you tow prior to fill up?

I have a 3/4 ton Chevy Diesel, 39 gal tank + 129 in the bed. I get 11.3 mpg towing a 31 ft TT Gross wt is 18,000 lb and 16-17 mpg on the road ety. I usually go 300 miles and fill out of the big tank and then I get a total of 1300 mile before I fill always having a reserve.
