And the AAM 11.5 rear axle isn't even breaking a sweat at 6klbs.
I wouldn't think it would take 70psi to level 3000lbs load in that truck. Same truck with stock springs takes about 60psi to level up over 4000lbs. 70 is likely putting it back to original ride height, i.e. The bags are holding the whole bag, lol!
Agreed, I'll look into it all, as I previously pointed out I arbitrarily threw 70 pounds in them real quick for a 2 mile drive to weigh it, didn't even look at ride height.
I SERIOUSLY doubt it requires that much, it was 7AM and I was moving along quickly
No, you're totally right.
But realize you've stepped into a world where a bunch of grumpy old men act like my 9 year old, with the most literal adherance to any spoken or written word they choose to follow. So with that said, your statement of 70psi tripped the radar of Walter Mathau and Jack Lemmon, that you MUST be horribly overloaded if you need that much pressure in the bags.
All this without having the ability to or taking the time to think through your scenario, with accurately posted weights I might add.
Stick around, it's a fun place and your truck is bad @ss. It will tow your camper like a dream. Love LB7s!
